During a 2024 residency at Willapa Bay Air, in Oysterville, WA I created small works made from paper glued to the bark of Sitka spruce trees that I found lying on the ground near my cabin. Each mark is an attempt to hear beyond the noisy, fractured world and listen to the whispers of nature, beauty and the spirit that lies just beneath the surface.
