Imagined Cartographies
Imagined Cartographies reflects my ongoing exploration of spiritual and ecological interconnectedness through intricately hand-painted maps that weave together themes of mind, ecology, and spirit. Each of my paintings begins with abstract watercolor forms—dots, lines, and pools of color that evoke rivers, fault lines, and the passage of time. Over these imagined geographies, I inscribe words such as “the humility to listen”, “beginningless and boundless” and “mystic unity”. The resulting works are part map, part poetry, part prayer.
