There Are No Words
In the last few months that I was living in Taiwan, I started a series of 1'x5' maps called "There are No Words." I call them "There Are No Words" because they feel like they hold too much content for words. I map my experience of the overwhelming vastness of the world and my small place in the cosmos. I zoom far out to imagine aerial views not only of rivers and highways, oceans and forests but of polluted air, war zones, and migrants fleeing their homelands.
